Bojonegoro, E Java (ANTARA News) - A family of an Indonesian worker identified as Qodi bin Salikin (38) who died in Qatar on March 8, 2008, wishes that his body be returned to Indonesia.
"We don`t know how to get his body back. We can only hope the manpower recruitment company and the manpower ministry can help send his body to Indonesia," Sugeng, a relative of the dead migrant worker, said here on Saturday.
He said that the family had received the information about the demise of Qodi from another Indonesian migrant worker in Qatar. Qodi reportedly died of an illness.
Qodi left for Qatar in June 2007 as a gardener.
"For the family, the most important thing is that his body is returned to Indonesia," Sugeng said.(*)
