KUALA TERENGGANU: Three suspects, including a 28-year-old Indonesian maid, were detained 24 hours after a police report on a robbery at a house in Jalan Bukit Losong, here, was lodged on Sunday.
In the incident, a thief entered an 18-year-old student's room, tied up her hands and fled with nearly RM8,000 in cash and valuables.
The maid was picked up at the house the same night. A man and a woman, aged 21 and 27, were arrested at their homes in Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin the following day.
State CID deputy chief Superintendent K. Manoharan said police seized valuables from the woman but were still looking for the RM4,000.
