An Indonesian couple, in their 30s, were found with their throats slit in their home in a three-storey shoplot in Jalan Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, the Star newspaper reported on Sunday.
The unidentified couple were found in a pool of blood by a construction worker of a housing project site at 10.45am on Saturday.
City Police chief Senior Asst Comm II Ku Chin Wah said the woman was naked while her partner was lying beside her.
“We believe the murders took place less than 24 hours ago and according to several Nepalese workers who we questioned, the couple lived and worked at the site.
“We found a blood-stained hammer and do not rule out jealousy as motive for the murder,” he said.
He said police were looking for several construction workers to assist in the investigations.
