PETALING JAYA: A woman and her maid were found dead with their throats slit after being attacked by the woman’s husband.
The man’s mother, who lived in the same house, said she rushed downstairs as soon as she heard shouting.

Then, I saw my daughter-in-law trying to stop him but she was also attacked,” said the 78-year-old woman yesterday, adding that she was shocked to see him “slit the maid’s throat”.
She then ran out of the house with two of her grandchildren while shouting for help.
The couple have three children, aged bet-ween four months and four years.
The blood-soaked body of the 37-year-old woman was found in the living room while the Indonesian maid’s body was in the kitchen.
It is learnt that police arrested the 48-year-old man, a hardware-shop owner, as he was sitting on the sofa, looking at his wife’s body in their double-storey house in Taman Wawasan, Puchong, at 7.50am yesterday.
Subang Jaya district deputy police chief Superintendent Abdul Aziz Abdul Majid Supt Abdul Aziz said a knife believed be the murder weapon was found in the kitchen.
The bodies were sent to the Serdang hospital for post-mortem.
