Maid hurt in escape bid: An Indonesian housemaid who tried in vain to escape from her sponsor in Gharnata has been admitted to a hospital with serious injuries, reports Al-Watan daily.
According to the police the maid was trying to climb down from the apartment with the help of rope made of bed covers. The ‘rope’ snapped when the maid was halfway and she fell on the ground below.
