MUAR: Four children and an Indonesian maid were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck along the Pagoh Parit Sulong road near here.
The dead were brothers Tan Jun Liang, 11, Jun Hwa, 10, Jun Hwee, four, a relative Wong Yui Yang, seven, and the maid, Kasmi, 23.
The mother of the brothers, Lee Lay Ha, 38, her other son Jun Kwang, eight, and another relative Wong Yui Yang, six, were rushed to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital.
According to a relative, the family was returning to Panchor when the crash occurred at 6.30pm yesterday.
