Surabaya, East Java, (ANTARA News) - An Indonesian migrant worker identified as Nuryana died of severe burns after she was caught in a fire in Macau recently.
Nuryana was in a room located on the third floor when the fire broke out last August 23, 2008, according to Moch Cholily, chairman of the East Java chapter of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Union (SBMI) here on Saturday.
She was rushed to CS Januariao hospital but died on August 30, 2008, as she had suffered serious burns on 45 percent of her body.
Her remains were flown from Macao to Surabaya on September 12, 2008, and expected to arrive at Juanda Airport on Saturday (Sept. 13), he said.(*)
