JAKARTA (Antara): An Indonesian worker has died in mysterious circumstances in her employer's home in Malaysia, non-governmental organization Migrant Care said Wednesday.

Migrant Care activist Wahyu Susilo said the East Javanese worker, Sumarmi, was found dead Saturday. Malaysian police have not yet revealed the cause of her death.

Sumarmi's remains were reportedly flown from Kuala Lumpur to Surabaya on Wednesday afternoon, before being taken to her hometown of Ngawi.

Stories abound of mistreatment and abuse suffered by Indonesian workers at the hands of their Malaysian employers.
